SIDNEY – The Sidney Lions Food Bank is unfortunately returning to its roots. The program began in 1984 to help those hurt by a downturn in the economy. This year, it seems, they’ve held a similar function. In September 2008 they were feeding 649 people this September 839 people were registered for hampers.
